Indian Landing Boat Club is nestled in a quiet arm of the bay at the head of the Severn River. Its a delightful tree-shaded location overlooking a cove and typically a very calm area for sailing, ideal for those who may be intimidated by sailing a long distance from the launch area. A modest parking lot is available for unloading of travel trailers. Coach boats can be launched at a nearby ramp. There are places to tie-up coach boats after they have been launched. A pool is available for all to enjoy. Racing is typically held in areas directly out from the launch area. ILBC provides lunch to sailors, and also to non-sailors for a modest charge, however, there is no general food service, WIFI, gas stations, drug stores or hardware stores in the immediate vicinity, so its a good idea to plan ahead accordingly. |
